Zebek, Vladimir Evgenievich

Zebek, Vladimir Evgenievich (1931-2015). The Soviet and Ukrainian artist. One of the most famous marine painters of the second half of the XX century. He was born on May 18, 1931 in Nikolayev. In 1943 he was driven to work in Germany. After the war he returned to Nikolayev, worked as a graphic designer in sanatoriums and resorts in  Crimea and at the Riga coast. He graduated from the Moscow Art - Pedagogical College named "In Memory of 1905". He is a member of the Union Council of the Arts, he is the member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Since 1966 he lived and worked in  Pokrovka village (near Ochakov). His works are in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Russia and other countries far abroad. Zebek writes fishermen and Madonnas, fiery horses, shining wilderness, fabulous strange bouquets and the sea.
