He lives and works in Odessa. His works are kept in the museum and private collections of Ukraine.

This world full of light, warmth and coziness should be called a man-made earthly paradise if its fragile harmony were reliably protected from destructive philosophical thoughts.

Founder and director of Artsyz art school in Odessa region (1977). Member of regional, republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions (1970). A participant in the famous apartment exhibitions organized by Odessa nonconformist artists (1980). Author of books: “The World of Graphics by the Artist Afanasyev” (2002), “The Wedding in the Graphics of Vladimir Afanasyev” (2004).

From 1940 to 1946 he served in the Red Army, was wounded in the battles of World War II. From 1948 to 1951 he worked in the «Odessa Society of Artists». From 1955 to 1990 was a Senior Fellow and Head of the exposure of the Odessa Museum of Western and Oriental Art. Created the club «Color, music, word» named after Churlionis under the Odessa Museum of Western and Oriental Art. In the 60s Sokolov’s apartment was also his creative workshop and an original club, a place of communication between the artist, student youth and the creative intellectuals of the city.
Artworks by Oleg Sokolov are kept in collections of Odessa Museum of Western and Oriental Art, Museum of Odessa Modern Art, Odessa Fine Art Museum, in museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Permanent displays of Sokolov were opened in 2010 in the Museum of Odessa Modern Art.

Nagulyak Petro (born in 1965.) - Ukrainian painter, watercolorist. He graduated from the graphic arts department of the Odessa State Pedagogical Institute. Ushinskogo K. (1989) by V. Zakharchenko. Member of numerous local, regional, national and personal exhibitions (since 1986). Member of the National Union of Artists (2003). His works are in the Odessa Art Museum and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Canada, USA. It develops the idea of painting the best representatives of the realist trend Odessa landscape 1960-70s. Excellent sense of color, is able to assemble and solve the coloristic problems, feels the nature, the diversity of its state.

Stepan Himochka was born in 1937 in a. Starokazachem Odessa area. Graduated from Odessa Art College. M.B. Grekov (1965). In 1963 he founded an art school in the city Berezovka Mykolaiv region. Then, successfully completed training at the Kiev Institute of Fine Arts - Faculty of monumental painting (1975). Member of USSR Union of Artists (1980) and Art Foundation. Exposed since 1960. Member of regional, zonal, national and foreign exhibitions. Starting from 1976 performed a number of large monumental project for Kiev, Smolensk, Togliatti, Chernobyl and other cities. In Kiev, for example, undertook a monumental painting of the subway station in Minsk. SI Himochka - was born into an artist, yet his paternal grandfather, Ivan Savich Himochka, and his father, Ivan Ivanovich Himochka, painted churches in Bessarabia, on Ukraine.Raboty artworks are in museums and private collections in Russia, Ukraine and abroad, in including in Indonesia, Sukarno, in the collection.

Born on May 31, 1935, in Odessa (Ukraine).
Received art education at the Leningrad Institution of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin (Department of Painting, 1956–1962) and at the creative workshops under the Presidium of the Academy of Arts.
His creative career started in the 1960s. Since 1964 Filipenko was a regular participant of international, All-Union, All-Ukrainian and regional exhibitions. Since 1962 he worked as a teacher of painting and composition at the art and graphics department of the Odessa State Pedagogical Institute named after Ushinskiy; from 1995 to 2003 he worked as a teacher at the Faculty of Painting at Shandang Pedagogical University, China. Member of the Union of Artists (1970), Professor of Shandang Pedagogical University, China (1997), professor of South-Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after Ushinskiy (2008). Member of the Union of Artists since 1970. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1995).
