In the late 60s became a member of the Odessa nonconformist movement .

A Ukrainian artist, landscape painter, master of portrait and genre art. Born in the village of Bobryk Pershyi, Odessa region. In the years of 1940 - 1950 he studied at Odessa Art School (under the tutelage of Y. Bershadskyi, M. Mutselmaher, P. Parhet, and M. Pavlyuk). Honored Artist of the USSR since 1976. For 20 years he has been a member of the Odessa Branch of the National ArtistsХ Union. People's Artist of Ukraine since 2003. His works are stored in the NAMU, Odessa Art Museum, etc.

Ukrainian artist, graphic artist, an iconic figure of the Odessa underground of 1960-1970’s.
He was born on January 24, 1943 in Odessa. Since 1958 he was a permanent participant of regional exhibitions in Odessa. He studied at the Odessa Art School in the 1960s. His teachers were N. Zaitsev, Y. Egorov, N.Pavlyuk , T.Fraerman. He led the art group "9" in the 1970s, also he was the organizer and active participant in the "apartment" and street ("fence") exhibitions. Khrushch and S.Sychov held the first in the USSR unauthorized outdoor exhibition of avant-garde in 1963. He participated in the exhibition "Contemporary Art of Ukraine" (Munich -London- Paris-New York) in 1979. He moved to Moscow in 1981. Artist was an active member of the Creative Union of Artists "Jakimanka", where he made 9 exhibitions during the 1981-1983 periods. Artist was invited to organize the exhibition hall of Cheryomushki district in Moscow in Belyaevo in 1984; except his works, works of Y.Pliss, S.Alferov, A. Sobolev, K. Medvedeva, A. Lisowskiy were exhibited. Khrushch with "Belyaiev group" held a number of exhibitions, including in the city of Linz (Austria), in Panevezys (Lithuania). Fifteen solo exhibitions of artist were held during 1981-2002 (Moscow, Odessa, Kimri, Dubna). Since 1995 - he lived and worked in Kimry (Tver region). Artist`s works are on permanent display at UNESCO in Paris, the National Museum of Austria (Vienna), the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Odessa Art Museum, other museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Valentin Altanietz (1936 - 2000) - the "Magician of Light"
Born in 1936 in Krivoi Rog, Ukraine. Graduated from the Odessa Fine Art College.
Took active part in the so called non-conformist exhibitions in the 1970s. Later participated in national and international exhibitions.
His works hang in the prestigious Odessa Art Museum and Gallery and in private collections worldwide.
Died in Odessa in 2000.

Awarded with diploma of the international biennale “Impreza” (1990, Ivano-Frankivsk). Member of the National Artists Union of Ukraine (1993). Kaminskyy Emmanuil Abramovych (1927-2009) A Ukrainian painter. Born in Odessa. He studied at Odessa Art School (1946 - 1951) under the guidance of L. Muchnyk, B. Ebers, M. Poplavskyy. His exhibition activity began in 1952. Member of the National Union of Artists since 1963. He lives and works in Odessa. His works are presented in the Art Museums in Odessa, Rosii , France , Great Britain , Japan.

Ukrainian artist, graphic artist, an iconic figure of the Odessa underground of 1960-1970’s.
He was born on January 24, 1943 in Odessa. Since 1958 he was a permanent participant of regional exhibitions in Odessa. He studied at the Odessa Art School in the 1960s. His teachers were N. Zaitsev, Y. Egorov, N.Pavlyuk , T.Fraerman. He led the art group "9" in the 1970s, also he was the organizer and active participant in the "apartment" and street ("fence") exhibitions. Khrushch and S.Sychov held the first in the USSR unauthorized outdoor exhibition of avant-garde in 1963. He participated in the exhibition "Contemporary Art of Ukraine" (Munich -London- Paris-New York) in 1979. He moved to Moscow in 1981. Artist was an active member of the Creative Union of Artists "Jakimanka", where he made 9 exhibitions during the 1981-1983 periods. Artist was invited to organize the exhibition hall of Cheryomushki district in Moscow in Belyaevo in 1984; except his works, works of Y.Pliss, S.Alferov, A. Sobolev, K. Medvedeva, A. Lisowskiy were exhibited. Khrushch with "Belyaiev group" held a number of exhibitions, including in the city of Linz (Austria), in Panevezys (Lithuania). Fifteen solo exhibitions of artist were held during 1981-2002 (Moscow, Odessa, Kimri, Dubna). Since 1995 - he lived and worked in Kimry (Tver region). Artist`s works are on permanent display at UNESCO in Paris, the National Museum of Austria (Vienna), the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Odessa Art Museum, other museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.

Nagulyak Petro (born in 1965.) - Ukrainian painter, watercolorist. He graduated from the graphic arts department of the Odessa State Pedagogical Institute. Ushinskogo K. (1989) by V. Zakharchenko. Member of numerous local, regional, national and personal exhibitions (since 1986). Member of the National Union of Artists (2003). His works are in the Odessa Art Museum and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Canada, USA. It develops the idea of painting the best representatives of the realist trend Odessa landscape 1960-70s. Excellent sense of color, is able to assemble and solve the coloristic problems, feels the nature, the diversity of its state.

In 1950s Victor Kotov happened to be at the famous artists’ residence “Akademichka”*, near Vyshny Volochyok. He met some very well established artists there including brothers Sergey and Alexey Tkachev, Andrey Tutunov, Sergey Tutunov and many others. Those encounters greatly influenced Kotov in his development as an artist. That trip was the turning point in his career and defined his future direction. Having spent time at the residence Victor Kotov acquired his own artistic voice. He became known for his landscapes of the areas around Moscow,Tver and Crimea. Kotov mastered live en plein air painting and celebrated all the seasons with his bright palette of colors. His style is varied: from lyrical landscapes to expressive works in a sharp manner. Victor Iosifovich Kotov was born into the family of a blacksmith in Tula in 1927. He went voluntarily to the front during the WWII in 1942, was wounded and sent to hospital. Upon his return to Tula, he started working in a factory as well as taking drawing classes. Since 1957 Viktor Kotov’s works were exhibited in numerous Regional, Republican, and All-Union exhibitions. In 1957 the artist took part in the exhibition devoted to the 40th anniversary of the Komsomol Organization. Six of his works were shown at the All-Union Exhibition of Seascape Painters in 1961. Kotov became a member of the Union of the Artists of the USSR in 1960. His first personal exhibition took place in the town of Podolsk in 1978. He was of the artists who worked on the monumental work “The Defense of Stalingrad”. His works are represented in the Podolsk Art Gallery and many Russian and foreign private collections.

1962 - Enrolled in the College of Yenakiyevo where he specialized in technical equipment designer.
1970 - Study on the art-graphic faculty of the Odessa Pedagogical University after graduating, more than 20 years working in the Art Fund.
1980 - Start of exhibition activities.

1990s headed the Arts Foundation, was chosen executive secretary and deputy head of the Odessa Regional National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
2000s (the last years of his life) - worked at the Odessa Literary Museum.

Received art education at the Leningrad Institution of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin (Department of Painting, 1956–1962) and at the creative workshops under the Presidium of the Academy of Arts.
His creative career started in the 1960s. Since 1964 Filipenko was a regular participant of international, All-Union, All-Ukrainian and regional exhibitions. Since 1962 he worked as a teacher of painting and composition at the art and graphics department of the Odessa State Pedagogical Institute named after Ushinskiy; from 1995 to 2003 he worked as a teacher at the Faculty of Painting at Shandang Pedagogical University, China. Member of the Union of Artists (1970), Professor of Shandang Pedagogical University, China (1997), professor of South-Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after Ushinskiy (2008). Member of the Union of Artists since 1970. Honored Artist of Ukraine (1995).
